alright i took my wastegate out i hooked up a pump to it (a floating water tube pump haha) and i just put it in the wastegate hole and pumped the arm did move on it. the thing that concerns me is wen i hook it up to my car and everything the arm does not move wen i rev it up at all and the hose hooked up to it that goes from the air filter doesnt blow any air is it sopposed to? by the way my boost guage goes from -7 to about 0 somtimes 2 if im lucky:thumb: and somtimes it gets all the way up to 5 wen i first start it up in the moring any ideas? im thinking i may need an intake or somthing to get some more air flowing through i can hear the BOV moving and a guy said my turbo is spinning any ideas i apologize for the lack of auto savyness

I've made the wastegate open up with just a bike pump before. You just have to have a secure line to the wastegate nipple.

OP: Do you have a boost gauge? If so, hook up a vacuum source to your wastegate (eliminate a boost controller if you have one) and hop in the car. If you floor the car and the boost levels out (doesn't shoot past 20psi+), then your wastegate is opening correctly.

Right, any hand pump connected to the wg nipple will operate it. Like the guy above me said, have a boost gauge and do not put more psi than necessary.

Is the car running ok? Is it making boost? Is it making to much boost? Or no boost at all?
What was the reason you took it off to test it in the first place?

i tested it because im gettin no boost or extremely little boost. the most ive gotten would probably be 5 boost when i start it up somtimes in the moring, but it goes away in a couple of minutes. should be pushing 14

You will only build boost when the car is under load ie driving with a good amount of throttle. Are you referring to the stock boost gauge or an aftermarket one?

Do not try to boost in neutral, and for god's sake, use the damned spell check in your future postings.
