- best way to clean the compressor housing
- best Way to remove waste gate flapper for internal wg. i understand the concept, just look for advice for This Specific turbo. The guys From dyno tech who Are making my manifold
Have never even Seen the hotside flange. Lol
Im Going To include a few pics.

The turbo is a hybrid Turbo with A garret m10 coolside, and garret m26 hotside. 50/63Trim.

Internal wastegate on that turbo IS the actuator which controls the flapper. I'll just assume you meant remove flapper for external wastegate because you did mention you had a 38mm gate. Answer is it depends. If you are using a wastegate off the o2 housing, remove the flapper. If you are utilizing a wastegate off of the manifold, weld the flapper shut or actuator arm closed. Btw that housing is going to be laggy as hell.

I will be welding The flapper shut and running A 38mm on the manifold. Whats makes you Think it Will be laggy? Can you identify that flange?

Whats the bestway to Remove the actuator arm. or should i just Weld the arm in place.

Btw, this is for my starion... and if you had a turbo to donate, i would gladly accept. :)

I would, I just sold my spare so i had money to finish my build. As far as the 3 bolt turbine housing flange, I know volvo had a few 3 bolt T3 turbos. I guess that was prior to them branching out in a big way into the turbo diesel market. That being said, that isn't the housing I thought it was at first. I have no reason to believe it will be laggy. I have reason to believe you are going to have a hell of a time adapting it to your car, and it might be a waste spending the money to do so when you can get a perfectly good proven turbo for the $$$.

having A custom Tubular manifold made right now for my car and turbo. How Do i cut The Waste gate flapper off?

if you dont want to weld it shut you can always make a bracket that holds it shut.... slightly ghetto but ive done it a few times and has worked quite well.

I've never done it myself, but if I was to try it I'd grind the weld off on the end of the flapper shaft where it meets the arm. I think the flapper and shaft would just fall off once the actuator arm is removed
