warning light thing

ok i have a 93 eagle talon and a warning light just came on right under the stock boost gauge, it kinda looks like a building i was wondering if anyone can tell me what this is? also another problem i have is when i either brake or else down shift hard all my inside lights come on and the seat belt light comes on. i am thinking something is cross wired. any help is appreciated.

As far as the "building" light, that is really a radiator. Add coolant to the overflow bottle. As far as the rest of the lights, Im not sure of your problem.

i think the lights comming on is a usual 1g dsm thing...

i've heard that on hard launches the windows will go down. try seaching it.

Ive never had the lights come on or the windows go down and neither have any of my other friends with 1g's. Our only issues are the wipers coming on during a hard launch.

the only reason those come on is if you either burn out or just launch hard it either bounces the knob for the wipers on or it just pushes it down if i drop it on gravel they come right on without fail everytime

Yup, it means the coolant is low or the sensor is bad/disconnected.

Actually, mine doesnt wheel hop. They either come on during a hard launch or 1-2 shift. Its called either a stutter box or no lift to shift.

I'm glad i searched the forums before saying something about that light... Mine came on yesterday and today and i was wondering wtf it was...
Thanks for answering the question tho! I'm Pretty srue this is my first post, but there will be many more to come, seeing as i just bought a 92 gsx and it has some mods to it... and not in the correct order that has been listed on here... hopefully i will receive lots of help with all of that stuff too(reading to see if i can find somewehre that it has been answered for now)

This man's right for saying that you should add coolant, but also check for leaks with a pressure tester (most auto parts stores will loan one for a small refundable deposit). Coolant is likely to be slowly leaking somewhere, and it's better to identify and fix the slow leak now than risk damage from overheating once the leak inevitably gets bigger.

It will also come on if there is a hole in the radiator. Found that out by experience.
