calgary,
i have checked the faq forum already and to no luck, so an orange warning light right beside the check engine light keeps coming on when i start my car, and stays on for about 10 minutes. what is this warning light for? i have a 1990 plymouth laser rs turbo 2wd

It should look like a"bird cage" or something to that effect, there is a coolant level indicator in your over flow bottle, when it gets down to a certain point...empty I believe it sets it off, the reason why it goes off after 10 minutes is because the coolant heats up a little, its basics to chemistry, cold=more dense material, warm=expantion, when the fluids get warm the coolant expands and pushes the rest to the resivior and essentially turns the coolant light off.
Hope that helps,

Dustin

ah thanks, that's exactly what it was. it's sad the chrysler dealership didn't have a clue what i was talking about.

I was looking for those pics Defiant, nice to see you posted them. LOL The dealership didnt know what it ment. You will come to find out that some of the guys on here know more about the DSM as awhole then the people who designed it, and put it together.
