Want to buy this turbo (pic)

Does anyone know what turbo this is and will it work on my 1g? The guy i want to buy it from doesnt know what type of turbo it is or what it came off of.

Quick google search says it's smaller than a t25, you don't want it.

Looks like an old CAT turbo or some kind of frontend loader.?.? Just the kind of colur I've seen on those types of diesels. And im not basing that solely on the colur, but the design of the turbo aswell.

Is it a t25 flange? T3? What are the numbers on it (It should say A.R. then a number) Look inside the exhaust inlet and compressor outlet for these numbers if they are not molded on the outside of the turbo. Its a good brand, and if I were to guess I would say it is off of a saab or something along those lines... Probably not going to be better than your 14b though.

Off an older Chrysler 2.2. Don't waste your time.

If you need a turbo for your 1G, there are good used 14B's available for under $100 which are a direct fit. Why bust your ass to put a smaller turbo on unless you really like that cute red color that was sprayed on all of the steel parts which will burn off in twenty seconds?
