I was wondering if i could run a walbro 255 pump on a stock fuel setup. can it be done or do i need a reg and all that shit

Hi,

The only thing you need extra is the regulator. Because you are going to run higher volume of fuel, you want the regulator to control that amount.

I heard the same.. I havent had a problem however I do need a 30 Amp relay to keep from leaning out due to lack of amperage/power.But I am far from stock. so you should have no problem.

Thanx guys i'm going to throw it in this weekend I guess. I'll let ya know how it goes. :thumb: :dsm:

Please, DONT go and buy some $45 fuel pump re-wire kit!! That shyts rediculous how they do stuff like that!! :notgood: A 30amp relay from Autozone is a few dollars, connectors, spade terminals, bullsh!t crimpers, heat shrink, power/ground wire, and connector protector grease will all be less than a pump re-wire kit. :shhh:

in my opinion, to run it the right way you will need a fpr.
