I was curious to see what would be better here, a single walbro 400 intank or a 190 intank with a 255 in line.
I already have the 190, and either way i go it would cost the same amount of money after fittings and other miscellaneous things that come up.

Yeah i need to add to my profile, fuel wise as of now i have a rewired 190 and 550s, as of monday ill have fic 1550s hopefully from a member on here, but my goals are to run a holset hx40, or a borg warner s300 at 30 psi maybe higher. I know the 255 would be sufficient but would the installation of just a single 400 outweigh having to deal with the extra fittings and wiring for the extra pump. Obviously the 400 will flow more, but will it be as efficient and can having too big of a pump be a problem for a weekend driver?

The 255 should be plenty. If you are looking at making 700+ the 400 would be ideal. Are you looking to run pump gas or E85? The 400 will work with E85, but the pump life is reduced a bit.

It will be on e85, so it sounds like the 255 inline with the 190 is the winner here, then if i run out of fuel ever i could just upgrade the intank to a 255 or 400

No kidding? So when should someone replace fuel lines fron tank to rail?

IMO anything over 350-400whp. But I'm all about overkill. Hence going to -10's, the Wally 400, etc. I'm shooting for 500 on my car right now, but if the opportunity arises I don't want to rebuild the whole thing again because I skimped somewhere.

True, but better to be safe than sorry. IIRC, Jay Racing made 650whp on a 255 and E85 with stock fuel lines.

No kidding? So when should someone replace fuel lines fron tank to rail?

Thats what i was thinking also, i may as well change them all out
