I know the 255 will flow enough fuel for 550hp. but im gonna use -8 from the tank up to the fuel rail. and -6 back to the tank.

What i need to know is will the 255 keep the fuel pressure up in the -8 line and keep it filled with fuel to the rail and regulator. or am i gonna have to with a aromotive external fuel pump? my goals are to get mid 11's running on a built engine with a 3065 with at least 520 hp to the wheels. thanks for any input.

Line size wont matter. The pump moves more fuel than you use (or you wouldnt have pressure). Also, fuel is not compressable like air is (more lag from larger IC pipes, etc). I use a 3/8th aluminum feed line, which is about the same inside diamter as 8an, FWIW. :)

I just put -8 line on my car from the tank to the rail. I have a 255lph and it works fine. It can make as much pressure as I want it to. Good luck with your FP3065. I have the 3052 and love it.
