Im buying a new fuel pump. Should I buy a 190 or 255hp? On a stock setup.

From what ive seen, if you get the 255 your gonna need a FPR cause the stock one cant handle that and youll run rich, so ive seen. You wont need that with other one..The 255 flows more fuel then the 190 so if you plan on staying close to stock then go 190, plenty good, but if you have big plans get the FPR and the 255.

Agreed. Im running a 255 right now w/o an afpr, and it sucks. base fuel pressure is too high. I get crappy gas mileage and the car is boggy driving around town. Its much worth the 150 bucks to get the regulator.

People are doing the 190's with 16g's.

But be sure you wont upgrade after that. 550's, and a 190 are only good for 16g's. if you ever go larger you'll need bigger injectors, and the 255 fuel pump with an afpr.

There was one guy on here who had the 190 with a FP Green. His car was featured on the main page a while back.

2g stock FPR does a better job than a stock 1g FPR

Will a 2g fpr bolt up to my 1g rail?...i put an arospeed "afpr" but that was before the 255 and now as i understand the regulator just cant flow enough, so should i get a 2g fpr and put the little spring ajuster on to that or save up for a real afpr....im on a little bit of a budget(paying for gas w/ pennies LOL)

I recommend the 190, not quite as loud as the 255 for one, and it should give you the performance enhancements you need up to 400HP range if not more.
