i have a set of kosei k1 17x7.5 et45 w/ 235/47/17. im looking to install vr4 caliper kit on the front. will those calipers fit with that rim. thank you

The spoke clearance is the biggest issue. Put a straight edge across the wheels hub center then measure down to the spokes from the straight edge in the area were the caliper would be located. At work right now but can get you some dimensions later. What bracket are you going to use to mount the calipers? What rotors?
I will look through my threads on this as well and try to post them up for you.

Ha ha yeah just read the 45 offset. If you haven't seen these calipers I have some pics posted of mine in my gallery. They are pretty big and stick out. There are a couple threads on these calipers that are pretty helpful. I started one on wheels that fit but it never took off.

To give you an idea of how far the 3kgt vr4 calipers stick out they measure 4" from the caliper mounting surface on the dsm knuckle when using a tuners nation bracket. If you just measure from the 3kgt vr4 mounting ears to the lettering on the caliper itself it's approx. 4.25". Basically if the wheel will fit an evo then it should fit these calipers on a dsm.

thanks for all that info. i do have evo wheels, but i need them to fit with the kosei k1 rims i have too. i was also looking at the cobra big brake kit from RTM racing. the calipers looks smaller compared to the vr4. is there a chance those would work with the 17x7.5 wheels i have?
