Viperlp01 is building a 7bolt pt 2

So spent the night pulling the block out of the donor car and the reason it was a donor car was it snapped a rod i guess .. The rod smaked the oil galley for the balance shaft and cracked the block.. Luckily I found a block today.. Thanks blaine... So I got my eagle rods in and magnus SMIM so here they are..

They all have heat marks, did you get them checked? They are probably warped.

Ya they were used and they were checked by a machinest.. I am going to have them reconditioned when I send my block in for machining..

Yeah, that heat discoloration is more severe that normal. I'd probably recommend replacing the bushings on the pin end, John. Eagle part number B810. After that, you should be just fine running them.

I asked DSMloki and I was about to call you and have you take a look at them.. I just ordered 4 new ones and I take it they are a press out/press in deal.. Thanks paul.. You got any parts for sale.. I need 7 bolt good crank and a clutch..
