Was jeff letting off at the end or was the car just not pulling as hard as the fwd and rwd cars up top cause in almost every video his 2nd and 3rd gear owns the copetitor but then in 4th everyone starts to pull and he barley held off the second to last guy.

I noticed the same thing. I wonder if he just came out of the hole better? The AWD and auto seemed to give him the edge. Also, they did say they just used what they needed to win the event.

I think he was just letting off to make sure the car doesn't break.

Those are pretty amazing times at only 34 psi. I cant wait to see your videos when you go to the NJ showdown event:thumb:

We were only at 33 psi and on my back up trans. The first 2 passes were on low boost around 27 psi. On the pass with the silver Teg if you listen to the announcer he states he had basically letting off all day, with me he was on full kill and it cost him. We decided to stay at 33 psi to save the car for the showdown. Jeff

Great job man. Just wondering, but what are the basics on the setup your running for this car? I really like how consistent it is as well.

There a few assorted build threads on the forums about this car. But the basics is 2.0 @ 8.7:1 Great big cams that I cant divulge (8) 1600's IPT auto trans and english racing love. My avitar is a pic of the engine bay.

I don't think "basic" and this car really go well together ROFL

ROFL You know what I meant man.LOL

Very cool man. With 8 1600's at hand, you can add a lot more boost:D

The car was awesome and it was great meeting the English/Lucas guys. Competition this year however was pretty thin. In years past this class was known for 8s cars. There were cars in the street class running faster times. So I dunno what happened. In general it was kind of ass backwards. The ProClass guys were putting down Street class times. I remember when Jake came out last year and ran that 8.XX he wasn't even top qualifier...

Oh well, hopefully this recession will die down a bit and let some of these guys really put a hurting on for next season. This is the event I am most waiting for next season. I'll be in the street class but I want to see if they'll do an exhibition with the street vs pro like they use to do which would be fun.

As far as the AWD beating these guys off the line, I doubt it. Most of these FWD/RWD guys normally crack off 1.2s/1.3s something an AWD will never/rarely do. Mr English was sandbaggin it hard hahaha. I wish his car was down last year though, he woulda needed ever PSi he had and we woulda seen what his beast could have really done. Can't wait till next time bro.

Just for the record Mr. English drove the 16g auto car and Mr. Bush ran the pro class. Now as far as running with Kenny Tran and Brian Jaminez last year I did in 2 separate events. Not to say my car had a chance against these two guys but I did non the less run with them. This next Battle event will have some much better times for me, I will be turning it up. I was gonna be doing some testing this weekend but we got rained out so maybe next weekend. Jeff
