VID*High pitch whistle sound from trans/starter?

After rebuilding my engine and dropping it in i had problems with my starter so i bought a rebuilt one online for cheap. I used washers from arp head studs to use as shims because i cut my awd starter plate to fit on my fwd. The shims worked for my old starter so i dont know why it wouldn't fit with this setup. I finally got it started and now it has a high pitched loud whine that i believe is coming from the transmission or starter. I took a video with my phone that i will post. Any suggestions will be appreciated. My theory is that the starter isnt disengaging completely, but at idle the sound goes away??

Resolved* that sound is from the intake manifold gasket. I took the manifold off and put RVT on the gasket and no more sound.
