Very Very Stubborn Bolt

On the transfer case. To the right of the axle. So far ive used airtools, liquid wrench, heated it up and beat the crap out of it, done everything i can think of, but this thing wont budge. Its not stripped it just wont move. How should I go about getting this bolt off. Ive spent probably around 4 hours on it, just his bolt alone, its annoying, the only bolt holding the transfer case to the tranny.. soo close. Thanks in advance.

tried pb blaster? soak it down and let it sit for a few hours, then try again.

PB Blaster is infinitely superior to Liquid Wrench.

try to get like a 3 foot breaker bar on there... i have one specifically for my dsm... its about 3 feet long, solid iron, and fits over a 17mm wrench or ratchet... get one.

i find using an ratchet style torque wrench works great on those stubborn bolts.

well now .. none of the above has worked .. and add pb blaster to the list. So now, im buying a better airgun and if that doesnt work.. were gonna use the leverage thing

Tried a very big breaker bar?? At least 3/4" drive??

Iv'e always had good luck with the bar to my floor jack slipped on the end of my 1/2" ratchet.

i would not recommend heating it up. Lets remember what its connected to... an aluminum bellhousing!! Try what everyone is saying before buying a "better air gun." ...a good air gun will run at least 180 (craftsman professional composite), and you can rig up a nice 3-4ft breaker bar for basically free....

I dont know, I bought a real nice air tool set since I had the extra cash and it is irreplaceable since...If you dont have the money then fine but I am young with cash so if better tools are an option I say go for it, if not, I found success with my jack handle, slightly modifidy of course, over my ratchets....good luck either way
