Well, I'm here again! 8/
Got a new set of accel wires, NGK BPR7ES plugs gapped to .023, and for the first time, in 10k miles, i've been able to floor the gas and rev/boost without the CEL tripping. It runs amazing, but NOW almost every pull, in the 5200 RPM+ range, under 23psi of boost, there is a very faint hiccup, which almost sounds like a pop through the tip of the exhaust. performance does suffer a little bit, but i'd like to know if it's time to ditch the<5000mile old Auto Zone coil packs, or are they okay?? i mean they were pretty expensive. This _hiccup_ is very short, but it's totally noticeable. I plan on gapping the plugs to .021 first. The replace the coil packs...
Any kind of help is appreciated..

Rearrange and isolate your plug wires just to make sure you don't have spark jumping around. I had one set of NGK wires that did something like that and it drove me nuts. They weren't even a year old and of course the hood was always closed when it did it. I accidentally left a shop rag on them one day and it quit, they were arcing to the bottom of my hood. Who would have thought?? Just rule it out. Glad its been making you happy!
