92 awd. Turbo eclipse

Rebuilt the motor,

New lifters
New head that a shop surfaced and pressure tested
full motor gasket set
New bearings and main bearings
New valves 45° cut with a 6° back cut
New rings
All new front and rear main seals
balance shaft delete
New timing gear set
New timing belt
new Turbo
New manifold
egr. Delete
New tps
new coolant temp sensor
New 180° thermostat
New pcv valve
All new vacuum where needed, vacuum. Delete. Where applicable

Automatic. Trans rebuild

New steels
New clutches
New pump seals
New bearings
New filter
New case gaskets
new kickdown servo

Now the issue is after build it will not start. The head is not cracked and neither is the block. Good fuel pressure, good spark, did a Compression test on cyl. 1 and 2 it was around 30-35psi, then we out oil in all four plug wells and waited then tried cranking it, compression was 80-85 after that tries to do it two more times, didn't help conpression. Was still at 80-85, my buddy who did the work has been building dsm. Motors for years and works at the machine. Shop lead tech. He thinks it's in the valve train. Not the rings trying to get advice or help ASAP.

If u can't read this I can't make it any more plain..

bought a 1992 awd Turbo eclipse tha was junk. I broke the timing belt within 5 miles and had no power and auto trans was in limp mode. (third gear whole time.)
after getting new valves and head job, the car still had zero power and was still hard to start, 2 days later it died. no compression.
built motor, new bearings, (mine were shot) new rings, balance shaft deleted because the bearings were broke. painted and assembled the motor,
new 16g Turbo mine was junk 1" of side to side play and in out play.
tubular Manifold my stock one broke, new wires plugs full gasket set,
spent 600 on trans. Rebuild performance Clutches seals new bands. New bearings and seals, think inclined the whole fail safe issue
kickdown servo. Wire had broke off, reconnected that, new mounts belts obviously coolant oil blah blah,

hooked it all back up and nothing no start good fuel pressure, good spark caught a can of near by brake clean (umm wtf?) on fire sparks that good, thought plugs were fuel fowled. So I heated and cleaned them everything good no start , checked compression. Was 30psi on first 2 cyl. Pulled all plugs put some oil down there to boost compression. Did this three times got compression. To 80psi what's the issue, new everything! Proper torque. I'm stumped [deleted] is easiest. Way to contact or on here ###. Help been 3 months without a car and spent alot. Of cash on this.

Even after editing this as best I can, I still feel like my brain is going to explode.

What I am getting out of this is he just sunk a bunch of cash into his car, and still has dead cylinders. Either your head gasket is trashed, your rings aren't actually sealing, or your block is cracked between those cylinders. it could also be your head. If the valves are open while you are on the compression stroke, you wont build any compression.

I would verify that the timing is correct also.
OR I could have no idea what is actually going on...

Block isn't cracked, was pressure. Tested, along with the head, used a felpro. Head gasket not the graphite. Bs. One, what can I do to make the rings seat? Or check the valves if the are open and correct. That?

Wow, I can usually sift through people's unorganized typing pretty well but you take the gold. From what I can gather from that garble is you have no compression so head has to come back off. Either the head gasket didn't seal or you could have bad rings or something. Please type coherently though, it isn't hard. No excuses that you are on a phone either because that is a complete crap excuse.

Hi. This is Toby's wife. I just found him passed out at his computer with blood leaking from his eyes. I believe it's your fault since this was the page on the screen. I hate you.

ROFL

OP, type it to where people can tell what the f*ck is going on. I for one could not understand that shit.

OP, have you tried performing a leak down test? That will help pin point where the compression is going. By you mentioning that you added oil in the chambers and got higher compression readings it tells me you have ring problems. Did you assemble the motor yourself or did you have a machine shop build it?

You should REALLY try and make your posts comprehend able, it will help us all understand your situation a bit better.

It basically boils down to this, it HAS to be one of the above things mentioned:

Incorrect timing (its probably not this since it has at least some compression, right?)
Bad piston seals
Bad Head seals
Cracked block

Start by verifying the timing before you go and rip the head apart

Not saying your stupid or anything, but you mentioned machine work, but didn't mention honing the block due to the new rings. Did you hone it?

I only ask because I've seen people, on and off this site, that thought for some reason that they didn't need to.

If that isn't the case, i would check timing, make sure no valves are bent if timing is off, head gasket, past that i don't know what it could be.

Sorry but no, you can still have compression and your timing be off.

No the block wasn't honed, it had like a surface. Job I guess I'm not a machinist, they said I could use standard pistons and rings, and bearings, the head got resurfaced. And valves got cut. That was about it really. Besides the pressure. Tests.

Not if its valve train timing. If the the exhaust or intake cams are way off they will still be open during part of the compression stroke. I've seen it before.

And i have personally had timing off, and still had compression. I said it was possible to still have compression with timing off, not that it was always like that.

That's your problem then. You need to hone the block if you put new rings in so they can seat properly. Time to rebuild again.
