1G Valve Springs and HKS 264 Cams

I bought a set of HKS cams from a member here (Waiting for them to be delivered.) and was wondering what springs to run with them. The car is an automatic 91 GSX with a 2g exhaust manifold, big 16g turbo and 550cc injectors (Thats all.). I have researched this before posting but there are many conflicting arguements regarding this subject. Some say you don't need springs at all while others say they are a must. I am tempted to just buy a set of HKS springs, locks and retainers from Slowboy Racing and be done with it. What say ya'll? Thank you in advance for any and all input regarding this matter.

well the springs should be check at a min. just dropping cams in and not checking the valve train is just a bit foolish, IMHO,

I have checked several sets of used 4g valve springs and found very few that are still in specs...

the end choice is yours, but if the springs you have hare "flat" the engine will not rev like it should and you may get valve float, if that occures at the upper RPM band you may hit a valve that is slug open
