what is the P port for on the throttle body, well more of where does it go. I have seen the punisment racing diagram many times and still can find no place for the line. I changed my throttle body due to a idle and driveability problem. The old throttle had this port knocked off it was missind altogather so i never thought about it untill i installed the new one. When i cover the port the idle goes to like 4000 rpm. I changed the idle bevause when i do get the car run, if i press the gas it dies every time. If i press the gas and get off it will rev up, but i can not hold it dowm. I have been working on this car as much as i can when i have time. It has not been driven since i bought it about 5 months ago. I am totally new to dsm, but i atleast got it to stay on now, barely of course. I am sorry if this covered somewhere i have been searching for three days i have nothing. I have the haynes manuel for the car as well still no help, and there is no diagram on the hood it is missing. Can someone please help.

I've seen that before. been looking at it all of things seem to be hooked up off of the other two ports, that why i do not understand the p port. I guess i will use it as a boost gauge tap when i get the car running right. Apparently this is not my problem after all.
