Vacuum line routing

I need assistance identifying the below fitting (circled in RED in LAST pic), I assume its vacuum line fitting. I’m not sure of the best forum for this question but this one seems ok. I’m putting a 96 Talon AWD turbo back together. This car had a lot of mods at one time and I’m getting it back to stock for resale. Now Its been a while since I worked on a DSM, so things are fuzzy. I need some assistance identifying certain fittings and vacuum lines. Let’s start with this one, see pics, the fitting is circled in red. It’s under the manifold near the throttle body flange. I’m not sure what goes here. Any ideas? I’m thinking down to the charcoal canister, which is gone.

Looks like the EGR line that goes under the battery.
