I have done a lot of research and think I have some idea of how to start tuning. However my LTFTs are 0% across the board, the car is running but pig rich and lifeless. I am scared to take it over 3k or anywhere near 50% WOT. I have tweaked dead times and global a little, didn't seem to make much difference.

Hoping I am missing something obvious in initial setup here. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

techlogic,

I have never used link before so I am just throwing things out there.
Is the factory narrowband hooked up and functioning properly?

Again if these are way off questions I apologize, if your ltft is at 0% that suggests that the ecu see's no reason to add/subtract fuel based on the values it interprets from the oxygen sensor at idle/cruise

Are there any mechanical reasons why it is running so rich? sticky fuel injectors or perhaps a leaking fuel injector? Vacuum leak?

Again I apologize if these are redundant suggestions/questions.

I just replaced my 02 sensor. There is no narrowband sensor, the signal is simulated through my wideband, which is mounted in the factory location.

However, I don't understand why that would SHOW 0% FT, even though the ECU thinks A/F is fine, the values should still read actual values (regardless if the ECU is compensating or not), right? If I could just see what its doing I could start the tuning process...

The 02 sensor cycles between 0-1v but it is a slow cycle, not several times a second as it should.

I'm sure this is a simple fix, but I am having a hard time figuring this out.

You do not have narrowband sim configured, and you don't have any of the pin configurations configured for a wideband. You're seeing 0% fuel trims because the ECU needs to get into closed loop to adjust trims and you're in open loop. You also show -74F coolant temps, and DTCs for coolant temp and airflow circuit malfunction. You have lots of work to do before you're ready to begin "tuning" with the initial setup. I'd suggest reading and re-reading the DSMlink wiki pages thoroughly until you're able to properly configure your base settings and get the car into closed loop.

That makes sense, I guess I really don't know enough about the initial setup. Time to get my research on.

I'm going to leave this thread unresolved. I'm sure ill hit some snags along the way.

Thanks

I posted in your other thread. But looking at the log are you running a Ecmlink Cable for the GM maf or are you running a MAF-T? If it is the latter (which seems like it may be) You need to change your Maf selection to "Stock"
Then just address the other issues and fallow what I posted in your other thread and you should be able to make some progress.
