Today was a bracket racing track day down at maplegrove raceway in PA today. There were said to be about 50 different schools there. The place was packed. Probly close to 150-200 cars running. And closer to 1,000 spectators. First there were 2 time trials, and then eliminations. The rules were no slicks, no d.o.t. drag radials, no open exhaust, no faster than 11.5e.t.
My first run on 22psi
12.23@113mph
1.75 60'
Second run on 23-24psi
12.0@115mph
1.73 60'
Third run(Redlighting knocking me out) Kind of glad I stopped here.. car was getting angry on 24psi and 550cc injectors
12.6@113mph
2.0 60'
After the 150 other cars ran everything between 03-04 kenne bell cobras, sick typhoons, one rx-7 claiming 500hp, a 400hp 1.8t. The closet time to mine was a 12.5@115mph. So i'm pretty happy about being fastest of all the tech schools and highschools. I know if they would have allowed a drag radial or slick my day probly would not have been as victorious. But hey choose your car wisely.
