Using only the o2 wideband sensor with DSMlink

With DSMLink, Can I get the o2 wideband sensor alone or I need to buy a controler. Because I was thinking on pluging the wideband to rear o2 and taking directly the signal from the wideband to DSMLink. It would be cheaper to buy only the sensor itself. Is it possible?

Which sensor will screw directly to rear o2 factory bung. Is is standard for all car, so any wideband will do?

No you still need a controller that takes the wb sensors output and converts it to a standard 0-5v output. You take this output and input to one of the ecu "free" inputs (such as rear O2 sensor for 2g), then can log it in dsmlink. You don't need one with a display unless you want something for a visual reference as well. As for the wb sensor as far as I know they all use the same thread. Also most of the companies use the same wb sensor.

If the controller is use to convert the signal from the wideband to 0-5v, what is the signal right out from the wideband? Just curious.

What are the purpose of the 5 wires? I guess signal-ground, heater-ground,?.
