I'm wondering whatg some of the cons are by excluding a boost controller and just running WG pressure

I thought I found a thread about this but I was wrong..

The only con would be not being able to run more boost than what your wastegate is set for.

LOL Yeah, there aren't many cons to it besides not being able to turn up the boost beyond wastegate spring pressure. The only thing better then that would be to have it off of the compressor housing (maybe), but many would argue that the results would be the same.

oh i didnt notice i wasnt a new member sorry.

( i posted another thread in newbie form SORRY)

anyways i thought it was worse because your lowest amount of boost is set to 10lbs instead of it building it shoots straight to 10lbs or is THAT EVEN A PROBLEM?..

anyways good to know thanks

You're fine wanting to run just straight wastegate pressure. Won't cause any harm at all, that's what it's there for is to open at that pressure; a boost controller just delays the point of opening.

When I had my E316g installed without a fuel system, I ran just straight wastegate, no boost controller.
