Good. The Profec is just another unreliable POS japanize part that will only add headaches. The only good thing Greddy makes is the e-manage and the only japp comany that makes good parts is HKS.

That's bullshit. I have Profec B. It works great. It's actual fixed some boost problems I've had in the past, it's easy to use and tune (straight forward). That's a FACT

I like my profec just fine as well.
I'm curious is there any shortcoming running the profec and tial "like an internal wastegate" (i.e. using the side nipple and setting the profec to internal) as opposed to the 'correct' way?

How do you run the hoses w/ the profec A. Mine was running fine when I had it connected to the side of the tial, but i had the profec set to internal. Today I decided to change it to external, now I have no control at ALL of my boost. Can some one help me out here? I tried switching it to the top of the Tial but i still have no control of boost. It was kind of scary when I seen my boost rise to 25+psi

the answer to your question lies earlier in this thread........

AS STATED EARLIER...

With the electronic boost controller you use both the top and side nipples. First you set the dip switches on the ProfecB to external. Then run a vacuum line from the compressor housing or i/c pipe to the Greddy black bow "in". Then run a line from the Greddy black box "out" to the top nipple. Then just run another vac line from ether the intake manifold or the BOV line to the side nipple. This will give you the best results.
