Apoligize if this is re-post but i did not find anything

I saw my friends dsmlink logging and i was wondering if i just use ecu variables that available with mmcd and not use the dsmlink calculated ones, is it possible to use the dsmlink logging software without having their chip in the ecu?

I dont have an eprom ecu but wanted to know if this was possible, if not i geuss i will just run a palm emulator with mmcd since my palm IIIc got destroyed.

quick answer, NO. But you can use the pocketlogger (DSM verison for a 1G).
