Using a lot of oil but no blue smoke or leaks?

My car's been eating oil lately - when I drove back from NJ a couple weeks ago, I'd put a quart of Mobil 1 in to top it off, and three days later when I was back in VA it was already gone! We're talkinga bout a quart in 600 miles! The car doesn't smoke, although I get a little black smoke every now and then when the car's running rich - and I have no leaks that I can find, aside from losing a little bit because my Greddy TRUST oil cap seems to be leaking... but I don't see it losing that much.

I've been running Amsoil 10W-40 oil - but I want to figure out where all my oil's going - this stuff ain't cheap! Help me to figure this one out!

I got ya beat I burn 1quart every 4-500 miles, with no leaks :thumbdown No smoke, however a nastyl smell from my exhaust.

Could be the turbo leaking oil into the exhaust where it is not hot enough to burn it. it could be the exhaust valve stem seals.

Are you sure you have no leaks?

No leaks,

There is a small amount of blue smoke, only when bosting, or reving it up. Absolutly no blue smoke at idle. I don't see how this little amount of blue smoke would cause this much oil loss. Before I blew my old engine I had tons of blue smoke and I didn't lose nearly this much oil. My car feels a bit slower aswell, even though I'm boosting the same.

Ok I just checked turbo: no shaft play, and no oil in intake. My oil was low again today, so I filled it up, and after I drive it my oil warning light comes on, Then I check the oil and it is fine. I go though a liter every 2 days.
