Used search but cant find Evo III v/s 1G exhaust manifold pics..

Im running a stock 1G exhaust manifold and im wanting to swap to a Evo III, is there any comparison pics floating around on the web? Also will I need anything "special" to do the swap or change anything besides the manifold itself?

couldn't find any good pics, DSM 4G63 ECLIPSE TALON TURBO EVO 3 EXHAUST MANIFOLD TAP: eBay Motors (item 290485924852 end time Nov-08-10 13:19:03 PST) but evo III has larger runners and turbo side, hole, a lot better flow, faster spool up direct bolt-on, you might have to grind one of the corners a little bit, but yeah good choice to get one

Oh nice... I think the manifold I have is a E3.... looks exactly like that one, was wondering why it looked a bit odd compaired to most 2nd gen manifolds I have used.

Well the FIRST thing im going to do when I get my EVO III exhaust manifold is take comparison pics and post them...cant believe this has not been done before..Still cant find pics anywhere...

I haven't see the EVOIII against the 1G manifold but RRE shows it next to a 2G and the VFAQ has 1G vs 2G comparisons.

gah! stupid manifolds. i replaced the hubby's old one with a STOCK 2G replacement. Dorman OEM type crap. and you still have to grind down the corner that hits the power steering pump bracket (bottom right hand side as your looking at the engine). it took me 3 FREAKING DAYS to see that. so there... grind it down before hand, and you will be good to go
