Use primer or not use primer?

I scraped up my rear bumper on sumthing sharp so i had like a 2ft by 5-6 inch scratch on my bumper. Not too deep i sanded it down and now the area is pretty smooth all the paint is still there except little spots here and there where i sanded down to make smooth. Now do i need to use primer or can I just hit it with the same paint I used on the bumper?

Did you sand through the paint and old primer? If the old primer is still there, it shouldn't be a problem to just paint it!!

in some spots i did sand past the old paint nd primer so i ended up just repriming now currently sanding
