Painting wheels, use sandable primer??

Hey,
well they sell sandable primer for car body panels(metal), i was thinking about using this in some wheels i got that are scratched up and dinged up, i was wondering if using some of this sandable primer so i can get an even surface before painting is reccomended?

if they are big chunks, i would say take some bondo or autobody filler and fill them in. I dono if the bondo will fall out or not. Justr play around with some different stuff. The sandable spray on primer wouldnt work well for filling large holes tho, if they are just small scratches, it could work.

not sure about bondo, would work too i guess but it may fall out, what the rims have is like an uneven trim around the rim, i'll read up a little on the bondo can and see if it would work.

You think bondo won't fall out or something?

I said i dono if it will crack and jump out or not. I guess there is really only one way to find out, and that is to try it.

I'f its only a little uneven spot then the spray on stuff should work. I don't know if the aircraft stripper would eat up the primer though.
