I just got back with a replacement transmission and torque convertor, and I found out the torque convertor is different than my old one.

The first two pics are of the new TC. The differences I've seen so far are the raised edge past the flywheel gear? The old bolts won't go in very far, I think it's a different threading. And there are two holes near the bolt holes.

What are my options with this TC? Can I just get different bolts and use it? Will my starter work with it. Should I try my old TC? Can I use different TCs with the transmission?

Thanks!

Ok, it doesn't look like my starter will work with this TC. I don't know if my old TC is any good or not, but can I use my old TC with this transmission?

Here's the numbers off the "new" transmission.

After a little research I'm pretty sure this is the same thing as the original F4A22 transmission I pulled out. Can anyone verify this?
