UICP Maf Mod

I keep reading that people just buy new uicp to fit the maf, but can't you just cut out a small section to fit the maf? Isn't that cheaper? Come to think, free.

Correct me if im wrong, but most UICP is 2.5" while the GM MAF is 3". You will need an adapter, but it's nothing too complicated.

Coupler, adapter, transition, reducer same thing in my book.

I saw a write up around here on how far to put it from the TB etc but I'm having trouble finding it right now.

I think it's in the FAQ section. 8" before the TB if I'm not mistaken.
