One is when I took out the coolant sensor. After I put it in it seems to read low, but when I push on it the gauge reads back up to the center of temp. Do I need a new plug?
Two is I let off my e-brake and let the car roll backwards in neutral(manual trans) and my rpms slowly went up at least 300 rpms. Is that normal?

I want to say yes on the temp. Sensor but it could be your gauge, bad wire, etc. Now the rpms going up a bit is normal. Get in your car and start it. Now turn the steering wheel left or right and the rpms will go up a little too. It is nothing to be concerned about man.

Thanks. I didn't think the rpms was anything bad. Just double checking that. And I've looked over the wiring and it all looks fine. I suppose a replacement coolant sensor wouldn't be too much so I'll change that and see what happens
