Finishing up 14b/gauges/other stuff install and the lack of sleep has gotten to me. :banghead:

I have two quick questions before I can put oil and coolant back in the car:

1. I'm having trouble sorting through which vacuum lines hook up to the two ports on the Stock intake. I have right now (besides the recirculation tube) a line from the valve cover, and a line from the boost control solenoid thing down by the SMIC. Theres a third thick vacuum-looking line that looks like it was plugged into the intake before thats coming from a place back behind the transmission area on the passenger side. What is it? Where does it go?

2. Where on earth can I safely route the oil pressure sender wire? I feel like everything is close to either extreme heat (downpipe), moving parts (axles, belts) or some other hazard. (I have a remote mount kit but its not going on yet.) Just need to know where to run the wire after it comes out the steering boot.

Thanks so much.

The line from the vc sounds runs to the intake pipe preturbo(unless its the pcv line, but i think you got that one LOL), boost control vac line? Not sure. Time to get a MBC and do away with that. If you need to use it just check that you have a line coming from the compressor housing and a line from the wastegate. Those two will run to the bcs. Maybe another, not sure, ripped mine out day one.
The vac line coming from down below near the tranny? Sounds like you have all your emissions still. Thats a tough one.

You can route the oil pressure sending wire up along the drivers side like where the stock ac lines are running and p/s lines. Shouldnt be too tough to get it down to the sender from there. Just take it down as far as you need before you "jump off" to actually go to the sender and give it wiggle room. The engine does shake/roll

maybe this clears up some stuff i was vague on/didnt know: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...-speed-shop-vacuum-diagram-removal-1g-2g.html

Yeah I have a brand new Hallman Pro ready to go on, but I wanna get the car started and test driven as is before I put on that and the 1G BOV. I don't like installing too many new things in one startup (for troubleshooting purposes).

Thanks for the Oil Wiring tip. After working on the car until 5 in the morning everything started looking like a maze under that hood.

I'm still browsing around for what that could be. I searched and found that link you posted and this picture

. But neither mention that line maybe I'll post a pic of it for someone to come and point it out - its frustrating that i'm this close with no start up.

For the oil pressure sender, I got the relocation kit and plumbed the line into where the dummy stock oil pressure used to be, then used some zip ties to hold the line between the harmonic balancer and the axle, closer to the balancer. Haven't had any issues with that.

I have the Extreme PSI kit but was nervous about having it close to the belts. I'm going to go back and look at your post (I think it was you) in the remote mount sender thread.

EditDoes anyone have any insight on this line though? The line in my hand in the first picture runs all the way to under the battery tray area. Is it EGR related? Can I go without it?
