Two 2Gs into one.. what can I do?

Okay, I am soon buying a black 95 TSI AWD. The mods on it are:
Complete 6 bolt swap
Mitsu 20G turbo
Front mount (unsure of brand)
GReddy Type RS bov (legit!)
Injen Intake (also legit)
"Shep tranny" (the owner before me could not specify what it exactly is..)
HKS full exhaust
Boost, A/F, EGT gauges
Aeromotive AFPR
Walbro 255

I am buying it for 800. It has 140xxx on the shell I believe, but it is completely rust free. The strut towers have been redone and it only needs a new front bumper. The reason it is so cheap is because the rebuild was not perfect and it spun a rod bearing only 1500 miles after the rebuild.

So my shell has rusty strut towers with actual holes in them, the frame is bent, windshield is cracked, rear bumper rusted through near the license plate lights, and is incredibly dirty.

I want to swap my motor over to this new shell, and I was told that I can just swap the motor and not worry about fitment issues and that the tranny would bolt up perfectly. I am not sure what to believe, as I have a stock 7 bolt motor with 91xxx on it. Plus it's an auto.

I also want to trade my turbo with the 20G because my 16G has a few chips on the compressor wheel.

So will my motor bolt up to this "shep tranny" with no issues?
And would it be worth it to purchase this for a new shell and turbo? I figure I can part it out for more than what I pay for it.

The block is the same between manual and auto cars. The amount of parts on that car sure sound like a good deal. It also seems like everything on your current car can be fixed for a reasonable price as long as the unibody isn't too bad. I'm sure someone would take it as a project if you decide to switch to the new shell.

1g transmissions are missing the front and rear mounts that 2g transmissions have so the one in that car is for a 2g/7 bolt anyway. So yes it will work. You can use a 1g transmission with 2g 7 bolt block, but only in a 1g.

And the story behind this dsm is funny. My buddy traded his perfectly good Prelude Type SH for it. It was freshly rebuilt and running lean in boost and rich at idle. He was basing this statement off the narrowband in the car. I told him to get a wideband. Before he could get it into the car, it spun a bearing. Now he is too impatient to part it out so he wants to sell it to me for 800. Guy was asking 5000 for it or trade when my buddy traded him.

Well, he had it holed up at the local race shop (Archer Racing) while he's out doing some army stuff for a couple weeks. He called me yesterday saying if I want it to meet his mom at the shop at 4 to buy it, and bring a tow truck.

Not even 3 o clock I had a tow truck rounded up ready to go and he says:
"Well nevermind. She sold it to Archer's dad for 100 bucks."

I'm a little mad, but I can only imagine his frustration!!
