I tryed searching for this but couldnt really find anything so sorry if this has been addressed already.
My turn signals are not working. The green arrows dont come on or anything. I have checked ALL the fuses numerous times. I cant think of what it could be. Any help would be appreciated. :thumb:

 Any help? WTF
Yeah. Don't bump threads.

Aside from that, a new turn signal and windshield wiper control assembly will run you between $100-$200 from the dealer. If the contacts inside the base of the stalk snap off, the turn signal will not work. And no, you can't take it apart and fix it. I had a parts car and tried that shit. No dice. If the bulbs, fuses and relays are good, then it's likely your controls.

Im having a similar problem. only my left front and rear lights are blinking. I purchased an "electronic flasher" (EP-34) from autozone this part is the size of a 9v battery but I cannot find where the part is located in the car to swap it out.

TRIDON EP34

There is also the part that makes the clicking sound i BELIEVE is called the "hazard and TS relay" which is located behind the radio and is the size of a cigarette box. that part costs $61.00 at mitsubishi..

CAN anyone help show me EXACTLY WHERE is the electronic flasher pictured below in the 2g Eclipse? I believe this parts is the cause of my problem

You might try browsing rcaz.com and see if Dave hasn't detailed where he installed one of those. If I remember right, he had to install one to get his LED tails to flash at the normal rate versus the super fast rate you get when you install LEDs in the circuit. No guarantees, as I personally don't know, but Dave could tell you. It's just that he's not a member here.

The relay you are looking for is located behind the radio right below the hvac controls. If you remove the radio and stick your hand inside the hole and reach upwards you should feel it. Its a pita to get out, but thats where you will be able to find it :thumb:

personally i couldnt find a relay that would work in its place (checked autozone and dealer), so I soldered in a 20amp fuse and have to manually push the blinker lever up and down, but at least the lights now work

found this site on the net...it states that the part im looking for, does not exist in our cars and autozone is wrong for selling it because it doesnt find anywhere..dont know if this is true but ill check tomorrow when i have sunlight.

here is the wire that connects to the relay. 3 wires going to mine, black, green, and yellow striped. Notice my beautiful hack job to get the blinkers to work :tease:

hope it helps. maybe at least just for location purposes, but your relay might be different than mine. The stocker said "12.3v 85 c/m.... Turn signal.... 23(21)W + 21(13)W..... + 8(5)W + 3.4(1.4)W..... Hazard Warning.... 27W MAX 4 bulbs" part # G8A-130-14

thanks for the effort to help out man..

this is eaxctly my center console looks like behind my radio

in mine the only thing showing around that area you circled is the big black box pictured above. That is what actually makes the clicking sound for my TS and hazz signals..

do you have that black "ciggarette box size" box on your car? if you dont that means that big box is the flasher for me.

I drive a 97 gst spider

Iboostdoyou,

Did replaceing the relay fix the problem for you?

I have the same relay, not the big box.

My car has the same problem, I have replaced the blinker stick, the hazard switch and the relay, but still had to do a similar hack to the relay plug to get them to blink manually.

I found the solution to my problem: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

:tease: It was the turn signal/light switch. I opened it and found a small piece of plastic that was broke and prevented the lever from connecting inside.

I tried to do some " :sneaky: jarhead engineering :sneaky: :sneaky: " but the piece was in a bad spot and i did not want take the risk for it to break once I assemble it.

I purchased a new "TURN, UNIT" from Autzone for $61.30
part #(Mitsu)MR277924 or (WELLS) SW1905.

thanks for the help fellas. :thumb:
