This may be a little bit hard to follow but I am going to explain as much as I can.

(Story) Drove home the other night and while getting off the freeway I used the blinker and when I turned the wheel back the lever clicked but the signal did not go off. So I had the pleasure of driving home with a stuck blinker looking like a blue haired crazy going down the street.

(Finding the issue) After getting home and doing some forum searching I noticed that the control arm has a pin that sometimes breaks inside the column and that it is a common fix to replace the turn signal switch and that should fix it. After taking the column cover off and getting the switch out I noticed that the pin was still there.

(INFO NEEDED!) When I switch the blinker switch to the right, the pin goes strait out and solid. But when I switch the blinker to the left, the pin goes up and solid. I just wanted to check to see if it is functioning correctly before I spent money on a new one. Also I do not hear anything shaking around inside the switch.

Thank you for any help you can give me. In case you do not know what part I am talking about, the part # is MR277924 also new one on ebay (link) OEM MITSUBISHI Turn Signal/Headlight Switch/Lever NEW | eBay

I am having this situation right now my right blinker is stuck on, just going to take the whole switch unit off and replace it. It has to do with either the pin or rotating assembly inside the unit being cheap plastic and breaking. My solution for now is to pull the hazard light fuse out and turn the hazard light button on and it will cancel out the blinkers as long add the hazard button is pushed in, LOL.

I noticed I had no blinkers today, just bought the car, the fuse was missing, put in the fuse and the unit's blinking left blinker non stop, no wonder the fuse was out, when you replaced the turn signal switch did it fix your issue?
