okay so i just get my car all done 96 gsx 6 bolt swap with 16g and untuned with 680 cc injectors and walbro 255(aeromotive FPR too). When i drive just a little bit sometimes i hear like a whining noise. And when i try to boost i cant get past 5 psi. The car boggs down real bad like it is going sputter out and stall.

My throttle body is leaking very badly, like when i did a leak test it would hiss and i couldnt hold anypressure at all b/c it was all going out the Throttle body. I was just wondering if this would cause my turbo to seem like it was completely shot/blown.

my old 14 b was the same way. it made a really bad whining sound almost like a police siren, and it would not boost past 2 lbs. i threw on another 14b i had laying around and whammy, 15 psi!

any time you have a leak in a turbo system or any system, you are going to have trouble.fix all your leaks and see if that works. :thumb:

is there a crazy amount of smoke coming out of the exhaust? I had the same problem on my celica alltrac and it turns out the turbo seals were blown.

well it sounds like since you have a leak, that it would cause that problem. take care of the leak and see if that fixes it.

Why would you go WOT if you already know you have serious boost leak :nono: , let's hope you have not blown the turbo already. Fix the leaks.

I wasnt even close to WOT i was just goig up my driveway and gave it real slight gas. Im hoping that it is jsut the boost leak that is causing all the problems. I have fixing the TB shaft seals today and ill let you all know if the problems continue.
