2G Turbo ?'s

Yesterday I was racing a mustang gt and it beat me. (yes, I know I have the driving ability to beat it if my car was able too) Then it dawned on me that my cars stock turbo is a piece of crap and I need a new one. A guy I know is gutting his car and he has a almost brand new TD-45 turbo he will sell me for 300$'s. (I don't know much about turbos I haven't had my car long) Does anyone know if this turbo is compatible with my car and if it is a resonable price?

Some nice exhaust that you can go with if you are looking for some flow if from RRE(Road Race Engineering). I bought the Espelir Stainless 85mm catback for my car and it was $490 new.....The 2 1/2" to 3" downpipe was around $200, so yea....you can do a lot better than the $700 HKS. But if you go with the 16G, you can get away with some minimal mods(intake, exhaust, APR head studs, piping)for now. But you will have to keep the boost a little lower, like 12-15psi until you get the fuel mods to support more boost. But I have the 16G and intake/exhaust with piping and I can destroy pretty nicely modded 5.0 and Z-28's all night long. Just keep the boost down.........

If you are an ebay shopper, look for a Greddy or Apexi exhaust system, they run fairly cheap online and will get the job done too.
