turbo replace

yes i am in the middle of paying off my 96 talon. the good rebuild motor and what not the bad.blown stock turbo and i am in the middle of trying to find one. but my ? is how hard would it be to do a turbo swap and steps.and what i should kinda i heard you have to take the motor out to get at it so i am really confused on it thanks.

Turbo swaps aren't really that bad. If you are putting the stock one back on. I believe there is a write up somewhere in the vfaq.

16G install in a 2G

is for putting a 16g in but for the most part it should be similar. Just make sure the new turbo has no shaft play and looks fairly clean. Last I checked you don't need to pull the engine. For the easiest way, drop the bumper and the radiator/rad fans.
