Turbo Rebuild Question

first off, my car is a stock 95 talon tsi awd. i took the intake pipe off the other day and tried wiggling the turbo shaft. it doesnt move in or out, but it goes up and down and left and right. does that mean its blown?

secondly, if it is, will this kit work to rebuild it?

If you suspect the turbo needs rebuilt, it probably needs rebuilt.

If you're spending less than $75 or so on a parts kit, it's probably garbage and will possibly not fit correctly.

Sounds like the bearings are junk. If the shaft isn't worn out, a rebuild kit will probably fix it.

Turbo's can be hard to rebuild if you aren't familiar with them if you want it rebuilt you can always send it to jus ^ he is a pro at that. I have rebuilt my 16g before and it was fine until I shut it off after running it to hard...
