I was trying to find out how to post pics before my next entry but after 2 hours of trying different sites and it still saying invalid this and that I decided I will post a link to the pics on photobucket. This week has been a lot of long workdays and late nights. I have managed to accomplish the installation of the FMIC and rebuild of the Holset.

I took off the bumper and removed the wheels. I had already pulled the tranny so the hubs where out. I removed the radiator and the fans to create more work room. I eliminated the Power steering cooler and trimmed the radiator support to accommodate the new hard pipes. The A/C line on the Drivers side was in the way of the charge pipe. I had to enlarge the whole in the radiator support and bend the line out of the way to get enough clearance. I also had to trim the thin piece of metal on the side of the radiator. The only thing I have left to do is trim the bumper support. I got it mounted and all looks good.Overall I Think the install was not that bad and came with decent hardware. Only thing I need is a Bigger coupler for the Turbo. Here is the link to the pics of the FMIC.

Next thing was to get the Holset rebuilt for piece of mind. It had no apparent damage. I Ordered a Rebuild kit from Jusumx for quality parts. I disassembled the turbo and found nothing wrong just normal wear. It was impossible to get the housing off so I went and paid 18 bucks for a torch and put the heat to it. After a lot of heat and some very hard blows with a rubber hammer and she came off. From there it was not that bad. All the steps in the Shop manual explain everything. I had a local shop media blast the compressor housing, Turbine, Compressor wheel, and Heat shield. I soaked the CHRA in solvent and clean away as much of the grim as possible. The Turbine shaft was polished. I covered the end of the shaft with cloth and clamped it in a drill and used some scotch brite to shine it up. I have yet to reassemble but all should be smooth just torque and check the play. I will update with more pics as I get further along. Here is the link for the Turbo Rebuild.
