Turbo Manifold Options?

im lookin for a new manifold cause i really dont want to run the stock manifold cause their notorious for cracking. Is there a good manifold out there that would be worth investing in, if so which ones. Thanks

FP is the way to go and while you're buying that you might as well get a walbro from them for on $79 if you dont already have one.

Those crack very easy due to poor welds. There is alot of stress on those welds so that is not something you want to cheap out on. Plus with the $150 you pay for an ebay tubular mani you could have 3/4 of a FP.

Trust me, I am not an ebay hater. I use a few of their products, but this is something you do not want to waste your money on. A proven phenominal manifold is only $50 more and you will never need to replace that unless you want more hp or a different flanged turbo.

+1 on DNP manifolds. Punishment racing also has some good tubular manifolds. I had an ebay ram horn style manifold and the welds just looked weak so I never installed it.

I am going to be running an fp race manifold along with a punishment external o2 housing. If I were to ever upgrade to a t3/t4 turbo I would switch over to a dnp tubular but I am going to stick with the dsm flange turbos.

I got one from ebay sucks is siting in my garage never used just don't liked it doesn't look hopeless to me
But soon will buy FP they look good

I have a FP manifold myself. The spool up time has increased significantly comparing to stock one (I have a 1g). The car flows exhaust a lot more freely, allowing more exhaust out. That means more air can come in! Go with FP, you won't regret it.

The manifold you choose will directly effect your turbo options. If you can look ahead and have some idea of what turbo set up you think you will stick with for a while it will save you money trust me. Cast iron manifolds are a good choice for daily drivers, and the FP mani is a great choice but it limits you to bolt on turbos and a mitsu style 02 housing except for the high dollar FP turbo's (v band outlet)
If you want to stay cast on the manifold but you want to step up from the Mitsu footprint on your turbo then I recommend an ERL mani as it allows you to step up to a T3 in and V band out turbo set up which is where most end up.

Without a doubt FP is your best choice since you are sticking with a 16g.

I agree FP mani for sure. While you're there if you need an O2 housing, you can pick up FP's for only 175! Great combo and one helluva price if you ask me. It's the same setup I'm ordering next payday.

I'm pretty sure it is decided on the FP Manifold. Now if you are not in a hurry I would wait till the price drops, because I picked mine up brand new for $199 and I noticed they went back up to $275.
