im lookin for a new manifold cause i really dont want to run the stock manifold cause their notorious for cracking. Is there a good manifold out there that would be worth investing in, if so which ones. Thanks

pace setter has some good and not so good headers. Ive had two and they both cracked on me pretty quickly, but my roommate who has a pace setter but different design, loves it and has them on two of his talons. I would look into evo 3 manifolds and possibly getting it ported. Turbo XS makes some decent manifolds too. Im sure there are a ton of great headers if your going the tubed route, just some info on my experiences.

Well you have to keep in mind what kind of turbo you are going to run. A T3 or T4 turbo flange is totally different than a Mitsu turbo flange. If you are running a Mitsu Turbo, I would go with the Forced Performance Cast, it's great quality and flows really well. I bought one when they were $199, but ended up selling it when I sold my DSM. I don't really have any input on manifolds for other turbos because I have no personal experience.

++++4 on the FP Race manifold. Gonna be rocking the Swaintech ceramic coating, cause it needs it. I hate to cover it up with a heatshield since from a cosmetic stand point the manifold is really slick looking, have to see how the coating works first.

If you are looking for a long lasting good quality, you cant go wrong with the FP. On the tubular, just remember they almost all crack eventually and with the tubular/Ram horns you def get what you pay for!

FP manifold pretty much locates everything in the stock location. I don't remember it moving anything around to be honest.

If you want a good cast, go with the fp. Like others said, it is pretty much the best out there. But since you said you want a tubular, I'd go with dnp. There are a lot of crappy tubulars, but dnps are pretty solid. Don't hear a whole lot of bad about these manifolds. If you are still runnning a mitsu turbo, they have a tubular manifold that mounts up a stock frame turbo. I had a mitsu flanged dnp on my old setup, check out my pictures. I loved it and it worked great also. Now I got a bigger t3 frame turbo and am going with dnp again. Various choices but it's up to you to decide what you want and what will work the best for you! Good luck

Im running a FP manifold and a punishment o2 housing.. oo ya and a holset!!... I personally think all those are the best bang for the buck as manifolds.. My holset spools rediculously fast for how big it is.. My buddy who has a 2.3l gvr4 said his hx40 with a fp spools just as fast..

I run the fp also and love it. Watch for group buys if your not in a hurry. I got mine for like 175 a year or two ago. Its good quality the flange is nice and thick the casting itself looks good. No worries about this thing cracking. The way the runners are on this thing its almost like having a tubular seeing the gas shoots down towards the turbine. I run a punishment o2 also. Nothing fancy just the external dump but the price was right.

Once again FP race manny with the punishment o2 housing. FP will port the hell out of that manni for you and its not tubbular but it will last longer and flow just as good or better adn puishment makes a great o2 housing these will go great just keep in mind what turbo you are going to run.
