Turbo install Hardware.

OK so I have a 18G Im going to be installing very soon and I have a all the gaskets and replacement oil/water lines. But I was wondering whats the best place to get replacement bolts and fasteners? Anyone know a place or should I just go to mitsu to get the stuff?

The bolts you wantto use are OEM bolts. Hardware store bolts can of take the heat and are generally not the right strength or hardness. ARP bolts are just crap. I've broken more ARP turbo bolts than OEM ones.

Forced Performance, ExtremePSI, and several of the other supporting vendors have them.

FYI (if you didn't know)... I wouldn't go with the flat SS turbo to exhaust manifold gasket either. You really want the OEM o-ringed gasket, even though it's a few more $.

I forgot all about that thread Paul. That pretty much sums it up (and I saw the exact same thing with one bought from a different vendor a couple of years ago).

Holly crap that sucks that the stainless just crumbled like that. Thanks for the info, I will def double check the gasket situation. Thanks for the info.
