turbo bolts

How the heck do you keep turbo to manny bolts from backing out??? i just did lock washers but not to sure if it will work...what else can i do??? thanx

Make sure your brace is connected from the downpipe to the block.. Those mani bolts are not meant to hold up the turbo, o2 housing, and downpipe.

I used permatex high temp silicone on the threads...it keeps the bolts from vibrating out...old old hot rodding trick...works great on header bolts

Take the heat shield off go for a spin and then tighten the bolts when they are hot, they will never come off again..

what if you dont have a bracket on your downpipe.all the pics i've seen,aftermarket DP's dont have that bracket there anymore...i've read on RRE's site that you should have that bracket there..i know my RnR DP dont have that anyways

Cool, thats what i just did so we wil see what happens...Cause i tightened them cold and then hot and got atleast another quarter turn from them, that should solve it....thanx for the help....I am also goin to get a brace welded on so i can brace my down pipe to the block...i never thought about it till now....will take some strain of the manifold...
