OK, I HAVE HAD IT......
begin my rant. So im on my way to school in my car ...everything is just peachy.....i stopped at mcdonalds for a minute to get some breakfast and turned off my car (turbo timed) after turning off, it sits for about 20-25 minutes. I turn it back on and just watch the smoke pour out of my exhaust ....i thought it was just intitial star-up smoke but nooooooo it cant be that damn easy. Upon further inspection i noticed black suit (sp) all over my back bumper, i hold my hand up to the exhaust...and to no suprise...i smell oil .....so...upon starting to get pissed....i check under the hood...SURE ENOUGH...i see a tad bit of smoke and a oily smell coming from my brand new less the 2 week old $650.00 turbo....im so pissed off right now words cannot describe it. Anyone know what would cause oil to get in a brand new turbo for no reason?
EDIT : i just checked my intake pipe, small amount of oil in turbo intake, no shaft play whatsoever, removed my LICP and small amount of oil in there along with oil in SMIC...

anyways i was getting smoke out the exhaust and decided to check me turbo and had massive shaft play, so i then i upgraded to a s16g and i still had smoke coming out my exhaust i was pissed. i changed my oil the next day and found little metal shavings in the oil WTF about 4 months later i blew my motor and had a big hole in the side of my block the rod broke completly in half and was still conected to the crank and the other half shot up and hit my head. so i dont have no body to blame but myself. so 5k later i have a fully built 6bolt , sorry for the long story and i know how it is sometimes i dropped 5k and said screw it i will just replace everything that way i know its reliable sorry to hear the bad news
