I'm building a 6 bolt from a 1G Talon for some power. I'm putting in Eagle rods, and Wiseco 85.5mm 8.3:1 pistons, and a Walbro 255 from the previous owner. Other than that everything will be stock. While the stock pistons are supposedly 7.8:1, am I going to be able to run my new setup with stock intectors, fpr, and ecu? Or am I going to have to do something for the added compression and piston size?

Run it! Unless you have a tuning solution, there isn't anything you can do. I wouldn't think that small bump will change much on the tune it has now, just monitor a/f's if you have a wideband, but I don't see it getting to goofy.

Sounds like fun! I don't see it being an issue either. Just run premium fuel and use an octane booster for the days you plan to get on it. After going higher on the compression ratio in my C5 vette. I basically ran booster all the time. But we only have 91 octane as our premium fuel here. Some states have 93 or more. I can't even remember what Oregon offers.

I hear it's been a mess up there weather wise! I'm from Oregon originally LOL. I like the 70-80 degree winters here in San Diego county :). What kind of car will you be putting this engine in?

Awesome thank you to both, Oregon has 91 octane which is nice. And the motor is going into a 1990 Talon.
