First off there's no need to use exclamation after every sentence!! Its kinda annoying!! Little things like this make people not want to answer!!

That being said, it says an FMIC is in your wishlist...are you running a green with a sidemount? (stupid question, but needs to be asked..)

Sorry about the exclamation points. didnt realize i put that many in there. yeah i already have a 2-216 core FMIC on the car and functional there is no way i woulda put a green on with the SMIC.

ok still going through this slowly...is lifter tick giving you phantom knock? How bad is your tick? Have you tried RESTORE ?

(sorry, second and probably last stupid question)

Do not use Engine Restore, unless you want to clog your lifters....

I respectfully disagree. I, and many other people, have not had a problem with it. (I no longer need to use it, but the old lifters looked great when they came out).

Before I got an AFPR I was having issues with knock since the stock fpr was being overrun. Have you tried running racegas yet to see if you still get knock? That would help eliminate alot of possibilities.

Glad that you haven't had problems with it.... I however get chills just thinking about putting anything in my oil (besides oil). Especially when its metal (graphite, I think).... Kinda reminds me of putting sawdust in automatic trannies, definitely a temporary and destructive solution.

Same here, now I just got boost creep. Seriously, a big pump without a good aftermarket regulator will give you more grief than a small one with the stock regulator. I was getting knock count to 20 at as little as 5 lbs of boost at part throttlle! AFPR took care of that problem. I know you found a rod knock but this is definitely a possibility.

thats kinda funny to me, because i just had my dead knock sensor replaced, and im running a 255 hp w/stock afpr(untill i can get money to buy an afpr) and i have yet to see a single count of knock since i got the sensor installed(but at least the sensor works and it doesnt throw a code and the CEL anymore). i was kinda wondering why i wasnt seeing any knock with my set up
