General Tuning a 97 Eclipse GST

Hey, I just engine swapped my eclipse from gs to gst. And now I want a little bit of pop in the exhaust and some more hp (not to much) and I was wondering what I need so I can tune the car a bit. I checked the ECU and its not an EPROM. So where do I start?
