"Tuned" blown head gasket WHY ?

Everyone should just run a Mitsu MLS. I have made alot of tuning errors and just beat the snot out of the car and my 3 year old MLS is still good. I have literally seen 40+psi of boost and stayed in it.

Well now i have to eat my words. I got overzelous and put in 10 gallons of e-85 and tryed to tune it. Well i have had some issues with my #1 cylinder for a while burning alot of oil. So i adjusted my afc to 18% more fuel and tryed 25psi and she ran like a rape date. A/F was real lean but i wanted to push it so 35psi here i come. And as you can see from the pics 35psi went!

That is just ridiculous in every sense of the word. EPIC FAIL

Heres the piston and all cylinder of the head. By the way every other cylinder looks like its brand new no problems 135,000miles on the bottom end. The night it happened i was in the middle of a 3rd gear pull and i saw sparks and flames come out of my drivers side hood seam. I slowed down and stopped and the car still idled fine it just sounded like a huge exhaust leak.

A buddy of mine damaged his head identically to the one in the photo except it occurred between two cylinders while attempting to run 27* of timing advance on pump gas.

That stuff will never knock, and you won't know that it was supposed to until something like that happens. haha
